Intel looks to tackle Lebanon's topography with wireless broadband technology

Intel has been working around the world with different companies to develop a new wireless technology called WiMax, highly suitable for Lebanon's mountainous topography, which makes it difficult to place wires across the country, Lila Ibrahim, general manager of Intel's emerging markets platform group, said Monday.
